Yellow Dot produces entertaining, memorable, and scientifically accurate media to challenge the decades of disinformation spread by oil companies and reinforced by many politicians and media channels.

In 2023, writer, director, and producer Adam McKay founded Yellow Dot Studios with a clear mission: to address the urgent climate crisis that threatens life on earth. Yellow Dot Studios aims to engage and educate through entertaining and factual videos, countering the misleading narratives pushed by oil companies for decades. These narratives have been reinforced by media and elected leaders influenced by big oil. The goal of Yellow Dot is to disrupt this misinformation and empower more people to participate in the crucial conversation about climate action.

As Adam McKay himself says, The only thing I’ve experienced that’s really moved the needle is old-fashioned, disruptive activism the second you look at history, the main ingredient of all huge change whether it’s civil rights, independence, the labor movement it’s always disruptive activism.
