The Center breaks the cycle of homelessness through radical hospitality, creating safe and supportive communities. Aileen promoted this concept of radical hospitality through her organization Gettlove which she founded in 2005 to support homeless members of the Los Angeles community. Gettlove focused on ending isolation and joining in relationship with homeless neighbors to build a sense of community. In 2021, Gettlove joined forces with The Center in Hollywood, which champions these same values.

Aileen is proud to serve on the board of The Center where in addition to providing a sense of community through interactive group activities, staff help participants access medical appointments, reunite with family and obtain housing.
