JENESSE CENTER

Healing families and connecting communities.

The Jenesse Center restores families impacted by domestic violence through holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive services.

Founded in 1980, the Jenesse Center works locally, nationally and globally to shine a light on violence against women, girls, men and boys and advocates the basic human right for all people to have peace in their homes and relationships. Jenesse aims to advance prevention initiatives that foster and sustain healthy, violence-free communities. The organization provides comprehensive support, including emergency and transitional housing, legal services, mental health counseling, and educational programs. Their efforts are focused on transforming the lives of survivors by promoting self-sufficiency and breaking the cycle of violence through community education and outreach initiatives.

Jenesse envisions a world in which every person lives in a safe environment, free from oppression and with the opportunity to thrive.
